WINNER OF THE NERD SPOON

MEET DR BALU PITCHIAH
Dr Pitchiah is a Consultant Psychiatrist who heads a Wellness Centre in Chelsea. He has joined the Belmatt team and will be offering sessions on Building Resilience, Understanding the Mental Health Act and Mental Health disorders. At the recent mandatory training at the Royal Society fo Medicine ( organised by Belmatt Healthcare Training and had 90 delegates), he explored Conflict Resolution in general practice and how to negotiate the 10minute consultation by partnering with the patient to set achievable goals.

UPDATES
We have started our series of half day Updates at the discounted price of £50.00 plus VAT. These sessions will give you the opportunity to meet some of our lecturers and meet members of the Belmatt team. Most importantly, the sessions focus on current health trends. This month is our Prescribing Update on 30 March 2019 which is filling up fast. Dr Parmy Deol, an A&E consultant at Chelsea and Westminster, who also does sessions in general practice will be providing an update on minor illness presentations such as ENT, Eye, Respiratory and abdominal conditions.
New Staff
We have lots happening at Belmatt Healthcare Training. Danielle Schwede has joined as our events manager.
“Red Dot” X-Ray Interpretation
We have new specialist lecturers including Dr Asad, an orthopaedic specialist who will be teaching on our upcoming Minor Injuries course. He will be covering the ‘Red Dot” Upper and Lower Limb x-ray interpretation.
