Registered nurse or doctor with minimum 2years postgraduate experience and experience in sexual health and contraception.
Prescriber or working closely with a mentor prescriber.

Using a systematic approach to pre-IUD insertion assessment and counselling,
Practical workshop on inserting IUD or dermal implant.
To identify and discuss management of IUD related issues, e.g. missing strings and implant complications
To explain to clients the use of long-acting reversible contraceptive options, including IUDs and implants.
