The Autism Awareness course is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and its impact on a child’s daily life. Through this course, participants will learn about the characteristics, challenges, and intervention methods that can help manage and support children with autism. The aim of the course is to promote awareness, empathy, and effective support for individuals with autism and their families.
Aims and Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

- Identify the contributing factors that may lead to the development of autism.
- Recognize the common characteristics and challenges faced by children with autism.
- Develop an awareness of typical behaviors displayed by children with autism and how to provide effective support.

- Familiarize themselves with key intervention methods used to manage and alleviate the challenges of autism.
- Learn practical strategies to make basic changes that improve the day-to-day life of a child with autism

Assessment
This Autism Awareness Course assesses learners through multiple choice questions (MCQs). Upon successful completion of each module, learners must answer MCQs to step into the next module. Through the MCQs it is measured how much a learner could grasp from each section. In the assessment pass mark is 75%.
