An experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner with over thirty years of experience spanning Emergency and Urgent Care nursing. Dorthe worked as a Nurse Consultant for twelve years in South London and as Deputy Head of Nursing, for King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. She worked as Lecturer Practitioner for Middlesex University and has continued her passion for teaching and training by lecturing and teaching freelance. Dorthe (in association with a Director of Nursing) established a university accredited Urgent Care Training Programme for Emergency successfully delivered Emergency Practitioner’s competent to work with adults and children with Minor Injuries and Illnesses within an Urgent Care setting. Dorthe is also widely published having co-written Limb X-ray Interpretation (2006) as well as numerous Nursing journal publications
