Assisting with Medical Procedures — 17 June 2025 | 13:00- 17:00
This hands-on half-day course is designed for healthcare assistants and support staff who assist clinicians during medical procedures. Delegates will gain an understanding of safe practices, infection control principles, equipment handling, and patient preparation across a range of common procedures, including wound care, venepuncture support, catheterisation, and ECG monitoring.
The session focuses on developing practical skills, improving confidence, and ensuring safe and effective patient care. This course is ideal for those new to clinical roles or wishing to refresh their knowledge.
