Rapid Tranquilisation
Aims:
- To understand when and how to use rapid tranquilisation in clinical settings.
- To explore the risks and benefits of rapid tranquilisation.
- To highlight the importance of continuous monitoring and patient safety.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this module, participants will be able to:
- Identify the indications for rapid tranquilisation.
- Describe commonly used medications and their risks.
- Understand de-escalation techniques and non-pharmacological interventions.
- Ensure appropriate monitoring and post-intervention care.
