Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I buy a course?

Go to the course that you would like to purchase and click on the ‘Get Course’, this will then add it to your shopping cart. You can visit your shopping cart to add or remove courses before you checkout.

I don’t have a Paypal account?

You do not need to have a Paypal account. If you select Paypal you can pay with your credit card if you don’t have a PayPal account. You can also contact us to make a bank transfer to pay over the phone.

How do I pay by bank transfer

You will need to login to your bank and make your payment directly into our bank account. Please use your Order ID as the payment reference. Your order will not be completed until the funds have cleared in our account.

Can I set up a payment plan.

Yes. Please email [email protected] to set up a payment plan.

I have not received my login details.

Please check your spam/Junkmail folder in your email system. If you still cannot find your login details, go to ‘‘My Account‘ page and click ‘Forgot Password’ – this will prompt you to enter your email address that you used to register and it will send you an email with your password. Please check your spam/junkmail folders for this email.

How to register on the website

If you have not registered before you need to visit ‘My Account’ page and sign up with your full details. If you do not see the ‘Sign Up’ box it means you have already registered with us. If you do not remember your password please select the ‘Forgot Password’ and you will receive an email with your new password, please check your junkmail folder for this email.

How to log in to access the handouts

Go to ‘My Account’ to view your purchased courses and click to view handouts.

How do I access my course?

Once you have purchased and completed payment you will receive an email with confirmation of your course and link to the course where you will find all the information. You can also view the course in ‘My Account‘.

How do I get my certificates?

You will receive a certificate only once a course has been 100 percent complete. Once the course has been completed you will be emailed your certificate. Please check your email junkmail folder.

The name on my certificate is incorrect.

Please visit ‘My Account’ page and ensure your profile details are entered correctly. Be sure to add your ‘Firstname’ and ‘Lastname’. For courses you have already completed with the wrong name please contact us.

I have completed the course but my progress percentage is less than 100

You must ensure you tick all sessions as COMPLETE, including the survey. The button at the bottom of the page will turn green if section completed.

Where are your classroom courses?

Our meeting room is Room 21, 3rd Floor, Chatfield Medical Centre, Chatfield Road, Battersea, SW11 3UJ. We do hold some training courses in-house or at various venues around the UK. Unless stated otherwise, all our classroom courses are in Battersea.

Are your courses accredited?

Yes, most of our courses are accredited by CPD UK.

Are your courses level 6 or level 7

The courses are not classified as Level 6 or 7. We are not a university. However, some of the courses  are accredited by CPD UK.

Can I APeL my credits into a university programme?

Some universities will allow you to APeL into a masters and degree programme. However, you must speak to the course director at the university to confirm this. We cannot guarantee that you will be allowed to carry the credits. You may be asked to complete a work based module by writing an essay or completing a portfolio of learning to be able to get the credits.

Are your courses recognised?

We have run training courses for the past 5years and our delegates have used the certificates to work in primary care settings such as urgent care,w all in centers, general practice and in advanced practice roles. We cannot guarantee that all institutions will recognise the training. However, we have had no problems in the past. Our course director used to run some of these courses at Level 6 and 7 when she worked as a university lecturer. She has extensive experience and oversees all the training programmes. Course content is updated regularly.

Who teaches on the courses?

We use a range of experts who work clinically. Our lecturers include specialist GP’s, A&E consultants and registrars, university lecturers, advanced nurse practitioners and clinical specialist pharmacists. Please see our Meet the team page to read more about our lecturers.

Do you offer mentorship?

We currently do not offer mentorship in clinical practice. We will resume the mentorship programme in 2022. Please email [email protected] to book an appointment to speak to the course director.

Do you offer clinical placements?

We do not offer clinical placements.

Does completion of this course mean I am competent.

This course does not award competency. It is recommended you spend time with a mentor in clinical practice and complete a clinical portfolio to increase your confidence.

Do you do the prescribing course.

No. Prescribing courses such as the V300 Independent and Supplementary courses are run by universities only.
