This mandatory training course provides social workers with the fundamental knowledge and skills required for safe, compliant, and effective practice. Designed in line with CSTF (Core Skills Training Framework) and Social Work England’s professional standards, this course ensures social workers are equipped to manage risk, protect vulnerable individuals, and uphold ethical standards in their practice.
The course covers safeguarding adults and children, mental capacity and deprivation of liberty safeguards (DoLS), conflict resolution, GDPR, infection control, first aid, and workplace health and safety. It also includes a resilience and stress management module to help social workers maintain their well-being in high-pressure environments.
This course is ideal for newly qualified and experienced social workers working in local authorities, NHS settings, private and voluntary sectors, and independent practice.
