A Registered Nurse and experienced nurse educator, with more than 15 years’ experience in nursing education, curriculum development and professional learning. She holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Medical-Surgical Nursing and a Diploma in Nursing Education.
She is passionate about supporting nurses and healthcare professionals to develop the knowledge, clinical skills and confidence required to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care. Her teaching combines academic knowledge with evidence-based clinical practice, creating engaging and practical learning experiences that translate directly into the workplace.
Her experience spans supporting nurses at different stages of their professional careers, with particular expertise in preparing internationally educated nurses for the NMC Test of Competence and supporting their successful transition into UK nursing practice.
Mariana is the course leader for the OSCE prep modules and the NMC Test of Competence preparatory workshops.
