  • ENT assessment: ear pain, otitis media/externa, sore throat, sinusitis, epistaxis, red flags

  • Respiratory disorders: cough, bronchitis, asthma/COPD, sore throat vs LRTI

  • Antibiotic prescribing & antimicrobial stewardship

  • Sepsis and red flags in minor illness

  • Safe triage and clinical documentation

🧴 Dermatology and Women’s Health

  • Skin conditions: rashes, eczema, impetigo, cellulitis, shingles

  • Safe use of topical steroids and infection recognition

  • Women’s health: vaginal discharge, UTI, pelvic pain, menstrual problems

  • Contraception and emergency contraception

  • Antibiotic choices and prescribing in women’s health

  • Case discussions and clinical decision-making

  • Abdominal Pain (Dr Hasan Nour):
    Differentiating acute vs chronic causes, dyspepsia, IBS, diverticular disease, when to refer

  • Headache and Back Pain (Dr Parmy Deol):
    Migraine vs secondary causes, spinal red flags, neurological screening, documentation

  • Take a focused history and perform a targeted examination for common minor illness presentations

  • Recognise red flags and high-risk features requiring urgent referral

  • Apply UK NICE and BNF guidance to safe and appropriate prescribing

  • Confidently manage common ENT, respiratory, dermatology, gastrointestinal and gynaecological conditions
